The Lee's Summit R-7 School District is soliciting proposals from qualified persons or firms to provide Transportation Tablets and a corresponding Student Ridership Tracking Software System for the Transportation Department. SPECIFICATIONS: The Tablets shall: Have App-software that will work with current routing software (Transfinder Plus) and GPS (Zonar); Navigate with voice or on-screen directions; Select and navigate multiple trips; Auto slip stops use student ridership to automatically skip stops with no riders based on RFID; Navigate multiple trips; Turn by turn navigations; Available to work with both English and Spanish; All Equipment installed by Vendor and fully operational before leaving; Come with Hardware/Docking stations for each bus; Real time route navigation; Custom path modifications; Collect student ridership information including time/location of students boarding and exiting the bus; Allow district to send the driver notifications by bus or route; The Student Ridership Tracking System Software shall: Have an immediate listing of vehicle occupants for any bus in the fleet; Access student ifnormation with any web-based device; Have visibility to student picture on the tablet pulled from Power School (current system); Work with Transfinder (current routing system)and Zonar (GPS); Be able to utilize both RFID cards and keypad option for student to input their student number; Be able to track students getting on/off bus and exact location; Able to alert driver and picture of student pop up on screen to notify driver the correct bus for student; Driver ability to make manual changes; Receive bus rider status automatically (available to all transportation personnel, principals, school admin, etc.); Send driver notifications directly to tablet
