3.1.2. SCOPE OF WORK The Wastewater Generator Replacements Phase 1, Contract 25-07 seeks to accomplish the removal of existing generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS) from 3 pump stations and the installation of new Owner provided generators and ATS at each location. The three pump stations are at separate locations and shall be done one at a time but sequentially. Work to be completed shall include the following: 1. Generator Removal: Safely remove and dispose of the existing generator and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), including all associated wiring, conduits, and connections in accordance with all local codes and regulations. Removal will require the Contractor to carefully remove the existing concrete vault lid and store for reinstallation upon installation of new generator. 2. Generator Installation: Install the new Owner-provided generator on the existing concrete pad, ensuring it is securely mounted and properly aligned per the manufacturer’s specifications. 3. Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS): Install the new Owner-provided ATS, ensuring it is appropriately positioned and securely mounted. 4. Reconnection: Reconnect all necessary electrical wiring, fuel lines, water lines, exhaust ducting, and other connections required to make the generator operation. This includes coordination with utility and electrical systems as needed to ensure proper integration and functionality. 5. System Integration: Coordinate with the manufacturer and any third-party services to ensure that all components of the generator system (generator, ATS, associated electrical and control components) are properly integrated and tested for optional performance. 6. Startup and Commissioning: The Contractor shall coordinate with the generator manufacturer to schedule and facilitate the startup, testing, and commissioning of each generator system, ensuring that it meets all operational requirements and is in full working order.
