The purpose of this Request for Bids (RFB) is to solicit bids from qualified firms to obtain a bucket truck to conduct training for electrical line workers: Blue Ridge CTC will be purchasing a bucket truck to conduct training for line workers. The bucket truck must have the specifications listed below. 3.1 4x2 Bucket Truck with a working height that is 55 feet or greater. 3.2 Jib with a 2,000-pound maximum capacity 3.3 A 2-man platform with a 700lb capacity. 3.4 Maximum reach from centerline of rotation must not be less than 30 feet 3.5 Hydraulic Boom with fiber optic controls 3.6 Back Up Alarm 3.7 Powder coat painted prior to assembly 3.8 Continuous rotation 3.9 A service center in close proximity to Martinsburg, WV is desired. 3.10 A truck that is designed specifically for electrical line work is desired. 3.11 Minimum 1 year warranty on truck 3.12 Pintle Hitch with electric trailer brake controller
