2. Scope of Work and Deliverables The intent of this section is to identify project specific requirements and deliverable services that will be incorporated into the overall contract for Construction Management Agent. 2.1. CMa Scope 1. Project budget analysis, development, estimating, and tracking 2. Agency coordination, permitting, and approvals 3. Preconstruction services 4. Value engineering, safety, sustainability, and quality standards review 5. Design review and schedule development 6. Project staging development and implementation 7. Bidding services including bid analysis and recommendation 8. Construction inspection and contract administration 9. Management and coordination of final startup, testing, and occupancy 10. Project close out and warranty 2.2. Pre-Construction Services The CMA will provide the following: 2.2.1. Plan Review Review the plans furnished by the County to ascertain the requirements of the project and will arrive at a mutual understanding of such requirements with the County. 2.2.2. Plan Evaluation Provide a preliminary evaluation of the County’s plans, schedule and construction budget requirements, each in terms of the other. 2.2.3. Preliminary Estimates Based on documents prepared by the Architect, the CMa will prepare preliminary estimates of construction costs for program requirements. The CMa will provide cost evaluations of alternative materials and systems.
