Services of the selected firm may include, but not be limited to the following: Preliminary Design/Site Planning: • Completion of topographic and boundary surveying for the site and analysis of existing conditions. • Preparation of conceptual site plan to present to City officials and citizens. • Solicitation of feedback from the community and stakeholders pertaining to amenities and design. • Incorporation of community feedback into preliminary design documents and preparation of opinion of probable costs for the project. Final Report will include: • All materials from Preliminary Design/Site Planning. • A detailed site plan, highlighting the primary goals and overall vision for the Rock Lake Conservation Area development. • Key findings, public input, and integration into the current Kirksville Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan. • A phased timeline outlining the sequencing of improvements, divided into shortterm, mid-term, and long-term goals. • An itemized list of all anticipated costs for development phases, including design, construction, landscaping, materials, and labor. • Recommended funding sources, including grants and partnerships to assist in park development. • Operations plan for ongoing maintenance of the area, including cost projections and suggested methods for ensuring the park’s long-term sustainability. • Conceptual biking/hiking/sidewalk integration plan. • Site ADA Compliance Plan. No less than five (5) printed copies of the final Site Development Plan, as well as an electronic version in a format that would allow for updates shall be submitted at the conclusion of the project. Note that all submitted deliverables shall conform to the City of Kirksville’s Style Guide.
