Design onsite septic system improvements per the recommended Alternative 2 – Private Wastewater Systems, in the attached preliminary engineering report. This work shall include design of: • Private onsite septic systems for approximately 62 homes, • Well relocation where necessary to achieve department separation distances, • Indoor plumbing necessary for selected onsite septic system (conventional septic and leach field, advanced modular system, or holding tank), • Decommissioning/demolition plan for existing piped wastewater collection system, to include demolition of sewage lagoon, lift station and flushing stations, decommissioning of community wells, and abandonment in place of sewer mains and manholes. The contractor’s design shall comply with all required regulations and include all permits necessary to complete construction of the project.
