1. SCOPE OF WORK 1.1 The purpose of this quick quote is to obtain quotes from experienced, competent, and properly trained/certified contractors to install a concrete sidewalk. All required certifications and licenses shall be provided to the County upon request. 1.2 Site visits are available by contacting Troy Tyree at (804)537-6400 x3036 or tstyree@hanovercounty.gov 1.4 The project shall be completed within 45 days of the award. 1.5 The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to install a concrete sidewalk. 1.6 Sidewalk at the back of the jail approximately 985’ long by 3’ wide. • 4” thick 3000 psi concrete cast on 4” compacted stone base. • Glass Fiber. • Troweled control joints every 5’. • Light broom finish sloped outward from building. • Grade soil along edge upon completion (seeding by other’s). • Sod and soil removed to required depth. • Form and pour concrete.
