Existing system is Siemens. Siemens components are required for this project. • Contractor is to provide all necessary materials to upgrade the system to “X” series modules, FDO421 smoke detectors, and FDT421 heat detectors. All other components 14 necessary to properly communicate the new devices to the system’s panels will be required. • Provide all labor, permits, blueprints, and engineering for this project as applicable. • Contractor is responsible for acquiring all permits and inspections. All requirements to acquire permits will be the responsibility of the contractor. • Contractor is to coordinate this project with the County Representative and the Detention Staff. A meeting schedule will be determined by staff. • Contractor is responsible for coordinating with the Fire Marshal’s Office as required, to include the permitting process and inspections. • Testing all components for proper operation is required and sequencing is required. • Provide the County with a updated set of blueprints in the form of paper drawings and a digital copy at the completion of the project. • Provide County with detailed warranty information.
