Minimum Mandatory Requirements This section contains Minimum Mandatory Requirements that should be met in order for a proposal to be considered responsive. Failure to meet any one of the Minimum Mandatory Requirements may result in the proposal being rejected. A. Previous artwork similar in scope and scale to the requested artwork. Any artist interested in participating in this bid MUST have evidence of prior artwork that matches the scope and scale of the requested work for Springville High School (see scope and scale below). Detailed Scope of Work – Requirements and Specifications The following list of requirements, although extensive, is not exhaustive and is intended to provide interested parties with sufficient basic information to submit proposals meeting minimum requirements, but it is not intended to limit a proposal’s content or exclude any relevant or essential information. Base Concept: The Springville High School and the District have decided on a general concept for this art piece which all interested artists shall generally adhere to when submitting their samples. Text Monument that includes “Red Devils” as well as the high school logo. Rough size of the monument to be approximately 10’(L) x 6’(H) x 22”(D) Artwork to be fabricated with welded steel that is laser cut and powder coated. Installation must be included in the submitted price. This scope may include additional work as mutually agreed upon by the Parties, with adjustments to payment terms accordingly. The artwork created for this project must meet the following criteria: 1. Scale and Integration: The artwork should be thoughtfully scaled to complement the architecture and layout of the new high school. 2. Quality and Craftsmanship: The artwork must be of the highest artistic quality, reflecting attention to detail and craftsmanship. 3. Durability and Maintenance: The artwork must be designed for longevity and ease of maintenance, ensuring it remains vibrant and safe over time.
