B. Project Summary: Asheville Middle School is located at 211 South French Broad Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801, consists of grades 6-8 and currently serves approximately 660 students. A restroom/changing room is needed near the softball field for student athlete use. Also, the athletic track surface at the school needs replacement. Services provided by the firm or individual must include, but are not limited to: • Analysis to determine a site layout for the restroom/changing room. • Analysis of City/County codes to ensure compliance. • Programming to determine the proper size of the restroom/changing room. • Civil engineering and design of site utilities and connections to the facility. • Architectural and engineering design for the restroom/changing room. • Inclusion of an athletic track design professional or previous experience with athletic track design. • Providing and updating, as necessary, a complete set of construction documents for bidding and permitting purposes. • Bid administration for the project. • Construction administration for the project. • Compiling of, and distribution to the owner of closeout documents.
