In seeking to bolster community preparedness and well-being, the City-County of Butte-Silver Bow (BSB) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for qualified firms to oversee and implement the development of a multi-use Community Resilience Hub. This innovative project will establish a central location to foster community engagement, emergency response capabilities, and initiatives to enhance climate resilience. The selected firm will be responsible for the following tasks: Community Engagement: • Initiating and overseeing the community engagement plan as outlined in the Community Change Grant Application (Available, if requested, from the Community Development Department). Project Oversight: • Selection and management of subconsultants • Ensure all project components are completed on time and within budget • Regular reporting to Butte-Silver Bow • Addressing any issues or changes that arise during the project lifecycle Pre-Construction Services: • Site analysis • Detailed construction documents for all elements (site, architecture, engineering, etc) as outlined in the Feasibility Study (Available, if requested, from the Community Development Department). • Permitting and regulatory compliance • Opinion of probable cost Construction Services: • Project management and oversight • Coordination with contractors and subcontractors • Quality control and assurance • Safety management Post-Construction Services: • Final inspections and certifications • As-built drawings and documentation • Warranty and maintenance planning
