This project is to reconfigure the Zoo Drive corridor in Billings from South Frontage Road to Shiloh Road to improve the current and anticipated traffic flow. Minor widening and reducing of the existing center median width will accommodate two thru-lanes in both directions with an auxiliary turn lane where necessary. Intersection improvements and eastbound ramp widening will help mitigate congestion. This project will also include improvements and connections to existing pedestrian and bicycle facilities, specifically along the north side of Zoo Drive. Additional work includes milling and filling, traffic signal upgrades, median modifications, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) upgrades, striping and signing modifications.
