The Ouray Mixed Project consists of safeguarding eighteen (18) mine features including two (2) prospect pits, one (1) prospect shaft, one (1) prospect adit, one (1) shaft and thirteen (13) adits. The project will occur on land managed by the United States Forest Service (USFS) Grand Mesa, Gunnison and Uncompahgre (GMUG) field office and privately-owned land in Ouray. Mine sites are located north and south of the town of Ouray. Mines are located in areas owned by private landowners and surrounding public lands. Detailed work descriptions are provided below in the Work List and a copy of the Standard Work Specifications (SWS) as specified in the Colorado Inactive Mine Reclamation Program General Bid Specifications, 2009 in addition to all applicable regulations are provided on the google drive link found in the following section.
