Project Overview: The ACC is seeking bids to replace its currently existing hallway fire rated doors inside the “main building” area located on both the 1st and 2nd Floor. These doors must meet all State of Maine Fire Code requirements. 1st Floor: • Three (3) pairs of 60-minute rated fire doors with appropriate hinges, kick plates, exit devices, and door closers. 2nd Floor: • Four (4) Pairs of 60-minute rated with appropriate hinges, kick plates, exit devices, and door closers. Scope of Work: • The vendor is responsible for installing new fire rated fire doors, hardware, and accessories as specified. • Vendor will work with electrician and/or fire protection company for door closers. Site Conditions: • All doors located in Main Building. • There is one large freight elevator available if needed. • Doors are near meeting rooms; work may need to be scheduled around pre-scheduled functions.
