1. The Contractor will provide all of the labor, equipment, and materials to process, load and transport approximately 1000 tons annually of construction/demolition wood waste. CDDWW, to a facility licensed to burn processed CDDWW or to the active landfill face at Hatch Hill to be used as daily cover. Contractor must include a contact name and copy of operating license for any facility licensed to burn processed CDDWW receiving material as part of this bid. Also provide any conditions or restrictions that the facility may apply to delivery of the CDDWW chips to the facility. Grinder or chipper must use sizing grates no larger than five inches by seven inches (5”x7”) while processing CDDWW used for fuel and seven inches by nine inches (7”x9”) while processing CDDWW used for cover material. 2. City will pay the cost of testing the CDDWW chip pile up to $1,000.00. Additional testing costs to be covered by contractor. Please include contractor’s cost in your per ton fee. 3. Grinder or chipper must use sizing grates no larger than five inches by seven inches (5”x7”) while processing natural wood waste. 4. Both the construction/demolition wood waste and natural brush and woody tree waste are stored at the wood debris stockpile area located at Hatch Hill. Quantities may vary from year to year.
