1. Review of Existing Conditions • Survey: Assume no survey is available and include survey for utility elevations if there are anticipated conflicts. • Capacity and sufficiency of existing box bridge. • Roadway Assessment: Review the existing roadway layout, including lane configurations, signage, and overall safety. **This project has a Hendersonville Planning Commission approved Site Plan so design of improvements should substantially comply with that Site Plan unless City Engineer determines otherwise. TDOT permitting was not obtained and the structural information related to the existing and extension box bridge were not finalized. 2. Construction Documents and Stormwater Report • Stormwater evaluations and report shall meet the requirements of the Hendersonville Stormwater Ordinance adopted September 2024. • Utility elevations shall be identified so the City can work through deconfliction before construction, if applicable. Include utility deconfliction as an optional task. • Provide stamped construction documents • Provide opinion of probable cost 3. *Potential Additional Scope during development or after construction documents are finalized: Public and Stakeholder Engagement • Public City Meetings: Attend up to two public meetings or workshops to present improvements and impacts to City committees and the Board of Mayor and Alderman. • Agency Coordination: Coordinate with local and state agencies, including Public Works, Planning, and the State Department of Transportation, and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, as necessary
