Project Description The Gate House Improvement Project at the Maine State Prison in Warren, Maine, aims to renovate and modernize the secure vehicle entrance. The project focuses on enhancing the functionality of staff work areas and addressing essential repairs and upgrades to the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in the building. These improvements will ensure a safer, more efficient, and sustainable environment while supporting the operational needs of the prison. The project requires architectural and engineering services to assess the existing infrastructure, develop cost-effective design solutions, and oversee construction. All work must comply with applicable permitting requirements, building codes, and prison security protocols while minimizing disruption to prison operations. The scope of services for this project includes, but may not be limited to, schedule and cost estimating, preliminary design, design development, contract documents, and administration of bidding and construction. The AE Consultant may be required to coordinate this work or additional work with other consultants contracted by the Owner
