The project includes furnishing materials identified in the contract documents and the provision of all labor, materials, and equipment to perform the work associated with the project. The project includes a base bid for the demolition of ~4,600 linear feet of existing rail and 7 existing turnouts, the installation of ~1,900 track feet of improved rail section and 6 turnouts, the installation of a new tub crossing and the grading and earthwork to accommodate the rail improvements and proposed drainage improvements. There is an additive alternate for this contract that includes the demolition of ~1,900 linear feet of existing rail, the installation of ~950 track feet of improved rail section and the grading and earthwork to accommodate the rail improvement
