a. The Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center (CTPHC or the "Hospital Center") is issuing this Request for Bids in order to procure the services as defined in Section 4, Deliverables with the intent to establish a contract between the successful bidders(s) and CTPHC. b. This procurement is being solicited to obtain plumbing inspection and assessment services including but not limited to inspection and functional assessment of domestic potable water distribution and drain waste vent (DWV) systems, for remediation, repair and/or replacement. The goal of this procurement is to identify points of distribution and DWVs that are limiting the distribution of hot/cold water at point of use including but not limited to sinks, showers, faucets, laundry facilities, water fountains and toilets. Work will be performed throughout the CTPHC campus, located at 8450 Dorsey Run Road, Jessup, Maryland. c. CTPHC conducts pretrial evaluations of defendants referred by the Courts in criminal matters and also provides the State of Maryland with forensic and other specialized services for the benefit of persons treated with a mental disorder or disability, the Criminal Justice System, other Mental Health Treatment Centers, and safety and security of the Community. CTPHC is administered by the Maryland Department of Health. CTPHC has an average daily inpatient population of 275 patients and is accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO).
