The contractor will be responsible for the following: Upper Roof – Approximately 3,000 sq. ft. Lower Roof – Approximately 1,500 sq. ft. Maury County Government Narrative & Instructions Item: Mount Pleasant Library Roof Replacement Department: Building Maintenance 1. Perform all work in accordance with OSHA standards 2. Remove existing single ply membrane 3. Inspect insulation, any wet or deteriorated membrane to be replaced at a unit cost basis 4. Supply and install a ½” HD insulation above membrane, new insulation cover-board to be mechanically attached through metal decking per manufacturer’s specifications 5. Fully adhere a new 60 mil TPO membrane 6. Flash all vertical protrusions per manufacturer’s specifications 7. Provide slip sheets for condensers on roof 8. Upper roof to have wood nailer added at perimeter and new edge metal to encapsulate wall 9. Lower roof to have a fascia that will cover the dirt line from existing metal 10. Lower to upper roof to be terminated with termination bar under lip of wall where protruding similar to what is currently in place 11. Price to include removal and disposal of debris and daily cleanup of job site 12. Supply a 20 year NDL (No Dollar Limit) Warranty for roofing system upon completion
