The Town of Wendell desires to engage a private engineering consulting firm to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) and Construction Contract Administration services for TIP project U6244 (WBS CON. 49178.1.1) –U-6244 consists of intersection improvements for the Wendell Falls Parkway at Wendell Blvd. (BUS 64) including the addition of a new traffic signal, water main improvements, closing the fourth leg of the intersection (Wall St.) and the addition of a turn lane. Project will include grading, drainage, paving, curb and gutter, traffic control, pavement markings and markers, utilities, erosion control, signing, and other related items as shown on the plans in accordance with these specifications and plans. All work shall be performed in accordance with the North Carolina Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures dated January 2024 with all amendments and supplements.The selected firm is to administer the contract and to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the contractrequirements.
