The work covered by this specification consists of routine structural and vegetation maintenance for the City of Omaha’s (City) Sarpy Ave Green Infrastructure Facility (Sarpy Ave GI). It was constructed as part of the City of Omaha’s (City) OPW 52184 Gilmore Avenue Sewer Separation Project in 2018. The project consists of an existing creek (ephemeral drainage) entering from the south and four storm sewer outfalls from the adjacent neighborhood and flowing to the north and discharging out of outlet control structure low flow opening. During storm events, the basin detains storm flows and reduces peak flow in the downstream sewer system. After storm events, the basin will draw down within 48 hours. There are four pocket wetlands in the basin with a sinuous low-flow channel between them. Wetlands will maintain shallow water levels unless extreme drought conditions exist
