4.2.8 PALLET REQUIREMENTS: 4.2.8.1 Maximum individual pallet weight of Good accepted by ODOC is 2,500 pounds 4.2.8.2 Pallet charges will not be allowed. ODOC DOES NOT PARTICIPATE IN PALLET EXCHANGE. 4.2.8.3 Pallets must be good quality, wood, with four-way entry for fork lift access from all four (4) sides. 4.2.8.4 Each pallet of shipping containers must be stretch-wrapped with plastic film in a manner that will secure each container and layer of containers on the pallet. 4.2.8.5 Palletized Good must be loaded, blocked and braced or otherwise loaded in a way which will prevent shifting and damage to the Goods during transit. 4.2.8.6 Pallet loads shall be stacked in a manner that minimizes the overhang of the shipping containers over the edges of the pallets and exposes the principal shipping container display panels to facilitate certification examinations. 4.2.8.7 ODOC may reject Goods that are damaged, incorrectly loaded, or on damaged pallets.
