The Town of China Grove is a rapidly growing community seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ’s) from firms with multi-faceted experience in professional engineering, consulting, design review, and quality control services for new development. China Grove is a Phase II stormwater permitting authority requiring review of stormwater permit applications and plans to ensure compliance with the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Stormwater Best Practice Manual, latest edition. The selected firm will review grading and drainage plans to ensure the design, layout, and construction of new streets and related infrastructure comply with North Carolina Department of Transportation Standards. The selected firm will serve as the primary contracted service for new construction quality control and inspections and as secondary for plan review requests on a project-by-project asneeded basis. The selected firm shall be available by email and phone for town staff to ask questions.
