The project is to replace the resilient floor covering in the Field House with new flooring. In an area approximately equal to a regulation Basketball Court, the existing floor slab will be removed and new, recessed concrete floor slab will be poured. This area will be recessed to receive a new multi-layer wood gymnasium floor assembly flush with the rest of the Field House floor. Areas of the Field House beyond the wood Basketball court are to receive a new resilient sports floor covering over the existing floor slab. New court lines for multiple sports, and a running track will be installed on the resilient flooring and lines painted on the wood gymnasium floor. The project includes replacement of the existing electrically powered and manual bleachers with new powered bleachers.
