The South Dakota Department of Health (SD DOH) seeks a qualified partner to conduct a cybersecurity assessment. This assessment will target South Dakota Health Care Coalition (SD HCC) partners statewide across healthcare including but not limited to; long-term care, and public health sectors. The assessment will evaluate the current operations of facilities within the coalition, focusing on current cybersecurity practices, identifying vulnerabilities, assessing risks during disasters, and examining mitigation practices and their ability to respond to and recover from cyberattacks. The goal is to identify gaps, available resources to support responses and provide actionable recommendations to enhance cybersecurity preparedness and resiliency. This assessment will ultimately inform the development of a comprehensive Cybersecurity Plan for the SD HCC, and support future hazard-specific planning, training, and exercises with public health preparedness partners. The ideal partner will have expertise in healthcare cybersecurity (including operating systems and medical equipment), healthcare coalitions, public health, healthcare emergency management, and healthcare facility operations. Please be advised that there is a similar RFP (#25-0901005-013 - Extended Downtime Health Care Delivery Impact Assessment) that contains overlapping elements. As such, Respondents are encouraged to submit proposals to both RFPs if appropriate.
