The City of Greensboro Libraries, Parks and Recreation, and Transportation Services requests your proposal for supplying, servicing, and maintaining vending machines and to provide a percentage of net sales. Please submit your proposal online using our online E-procurement system. • Contractor is to provide all vending units for snacks, drinks or fresh foods with EBT and debit/credit card payment options as specified under locations. • Contractor is to provide equipment of a type approved by the State of North Carolina, the National Sanitation Foundation, and The National Automatic Merchandising Association and meet all local code requirements. • Contractor is to provide full maintenance on all equipment throughout the life of the agreement and keep equipment in good operating condition, satisfactory to management, and free and clear of liens, mortgages and encumbrances. • Contractor is to provide a listing of available products attached to their bid. Products will be selected at the Contractor's discretion; however, the City reserves the right to make selections of specific items. Machines offering a product mix (Coke and Pepsi) will be preferred at some sites. Drink Contractors are to specify if they are able to provide single drink machines stocked with both products. • Contractor is to provide products with prices allowing for a combined purchase of drink and snack for the maximum cost of $4.00 in City selected sites. Additional items may be included at a higher price at all locations. • Contractor shall provide a list of proposed retail prices for the various product items. These prices are to remain in effect for the duration of the contract. • Contractor is to provide one third healthy snacks based on the Basic Grades PreK-5 after School Programs Guidelines set by NC Eat Smart School Standards. • Contractor shall provide at least one unit per site equipped with a bill changer. • Contractor is to keep all machines serviced and stocked with fresh products. The service cycle will be set to ensure the quality of the product and occur during facility hours of operation. The service cycle will need to increase during peak season, which will be specified by individual site manager, to keep up with client demand
