The primary objective of this RFP is to identify an experienced and professional operator skilled in managing recreational activities that can effectively utilize the available open space. For this RFP, a recreational activity is defined as any structured or unstructured activity in which individuals or groups participate for enjoyment, relaxation, and physical or mental wellness. Such activities can be social, competitive, or artistic and are designed to utilize natural or developed spaces to promote community interaction and enhance overall enjoyment of the environment. Given the open field of approximately 6.60 acres in a public park, potential recreational activities may include, but are not limited to the following examples: - Sports: Soccer, frisbee, softball, cricket - Games: Tag, obstacle courses - Fitness: Yoga classes, boot camps - Arts and Crafts: Painting, sculpting - Nature Exploration: Guided walks, scavenger hunts The proposed activity must promote engagement, encourage physical activity, and foster social connections among participants. The primary scope of work will include the following: 1. Providing high-quality customer service to park guests, particularly as it pertains to the managed recreational activity. 2. Managing all aspects of the recreational activity, including field maintenance beyond what will be provided by the County. 3. Demonstrating an effective marketing strategy to promote the proposed recreational activity to potential guests. 4. Collecting payments from guests and managing all financial transactions related to recreational activity.
