Supervising Financial Analyst – Risk Retention Groups (Captives) services to augment its existing analysis staff and to conduct supervisory reviews performed by staff members of the South Carolina Department of Insurance. The analyses performed are risk-focused. The depth and frequency of the insurance company analysis will depend on the characteristics (i.e., sophistication, complexity, financial strength) of the insurance holding company system (or parts thereof), availability of information (e.g., SEC Form 10K or Form 10Q) and the existing or potential issues and problems found during review of the insurance filings. The risk-focused analysis must be performed in accordance with the Financial Analysis Handbook.
