The Town of Longmeadow, MA, is accepting written responses for on-call roofing repair and maintenance for the Longmeadow Department of Public Works. Work under this contract will consist of labor, materials, supervision to repair and perform maintenance on various types of roof on municipal and school buildings including slate roofs, asphalt shingle roof, flat roof, single ply, tar and gravel, etc. Roofing will be as required by the Town for service as service needs arise. The primary funding source will be from building maintenance accounts for these on-call services as need arises. Planned capital improvement projects with project designated funding from town meeting is not be available for ‘on-call’ service as it is planned construction, not on-call maintenance construction. Planned capital improvement projects will be bid independently as a capital project based on the procurement requirements of the capital project estimate cost. All construction involving this trade that is estimated to cost $50,000 or more will require a separate IFB solicitation for award
