Johnson County Community College (the “College” or “JCCC”) is seeking proposals from responsive and responsible vendors for an Enterprise Identity and Access Management Solution. The solution will improve the experience of members of the campus community, increase the security of valued resources, and modernize aging in-house developed systems that currently exist. JCCC is an accredited community college and has a national reputation for educational excellence. With more than 35,000 students enrolled in credit and continuing education classes each semester, Johnson County Community College is the Kansas’ third largest institution of higher education and the largest of its 19 community colleges. The College employs approximately 1,300 full-time and 1,700 part-time instructors and staff. The College is soliciting proposals for an Identity Management System to modernize our Identity Management posture that will: • Improve the experience of members of the campus community through near real-time access and rolebased access (RBAC) updates. • Improve security by better protecting our faculty/staff/students and the data and systems they manage. • Provide new features, functionality, and capabilities that JCCC will benefit from to improve/eliminate manual processes, decrease management overhead, and provide security observability. • Consolidate and greatly reduce the number of homegrown and custom-coded identity related solutions in our environment. • Increase our Identity and Access Management team’s agility and speed of implementations and integrations. JCCC is a comprehensive community college committed to serving the current and emerging needs of the residents of Johnson County for higher academic education, technical/vocational education and lifelong learning, incorporating diverse instructional methods and current technology in the teaching and learning process. JCCC employs a diverse range of Identity Management Systems, encompassing commercial, homegrown solutions, and manual processes.
