The consulting firm will perform the following duties: 1. Project Background, Launch Communication & Engagement a. Study, familiarize and actively seek out information to become knowledgeable in the City’s current classification structure, compensation plan and operations and will review organizational charts, budgets, personnel rules and regulations, collective bargaining agreements and related information as necessary to gain in-depth understanding. b. The firm will be responsive to stakeholder (employee and leadership) inquiries via an agreed to workflow. c. Organize and facilitate launch meetings with City of Santa Maria Executive Management to analyze current State and elicit information to guide formulation of the classification and compensation study’s goals, priorities and practices for all aspects of the City’s classification and compensation system.
