The City of Springfield is seeking qualified firms or persons to provide a Firefighting Turnout Gear Care and Maintenance Program to include advanced inspection, advanced cleaning, repair, decontamination, and on-line reporting services of turnout gear for the Springfield Fire Department in compliance with the most recent edition of The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1851 Standard, and in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein. Turnout gear includes, but is not limited to, coat, coat liner, trouser, trouser liner, helmet, hood, gloves, boots. A contract will be issued in the form of a one (1) year term contract, with the option to renew the contract for three (3) additional one-year terms.
