A. Shelter Services (for designated beds in San Mateo County), Contractor will: 1. Administer and coordinate shelter services for referred clients. 2. Accept referrals from Service Connect for individuals or families (when/if reunifying with minors). 3. Designate 5 shelter beds (for up to 90 nights per bed/client) for referred Service Connect clients. Extensions may only be authorized by Service Connect. 4. Provide case management services for the (client accessing) 5 beds. This includes facilitating timely access/linkages to supportive programs/services such as life skills training, intervention, parenting classes, twelve-step or other services necessary to reduce the risk of homelessness and help clients achieve housing stability. 5. Facilitate client entry into any available shelter/bed as appropriate for single adults or Family Shelter as appropriate for individuals with children. 6. Refer clients to applicable long term housing programs. 7. Regularly communicate with Service Connect staff about program participant's goals/achievements/barriers etc. 8. Provide a report of available beds (of the designated minimum of 5 beds) to Service Connect staff monthly.
