The Department for Facilities and Support Services (DFSS) maintains and operates approximately 6.5 million square feet of state owned buildings, primarily in the Frankfort, Kentucky location. Some of these state owned buildings are historical structures that need constant repair and maintenance work in order to keep the building up and running. In order to maintain the current existing structures the Commonwealth needs a qualified, licensed vendor to perform glass repair, installation and replacement services, on an asneeded-basis. This contract once awarded will be used by multiple state agencies throughout the state, a list of all the properties throughout the state is too extensive to provide. DFSS is requesting pricing for glass replacement and repair services work on an as-needed basis, including emergency work and repairs. Pricing to include regular, emergency, and after hours’ labor rates and the vendors actual cost plus a fixed-fee adder bid by the vendor.
