This project is the replacement of the structure carrying 2 lanes of traffic along SR 2006 (Raubsville Road) over an unnamed tributary to Fry’s Run in Williams Township, Northampton County. The bridge is located approximately 250’ northeast of the Raubsville Road and Buttermilk Road intersection. The project involves the demolition and removal of the existing two-span stone masonry arch bridge and construction of a replacement structure. The proposed structure is a 28’-0” x 9’-0” precast reinforced concrete arch culvert. Other work includes approach roadway reconstruction, milling and overlaying, guide rail installation, curb installation, E&S control measures, drainage, signing and pavement marking, driveway adjustments, a temporary traffic detour, over 250 feet of stream relocation and other miscellaneous construction, as indicated on the approved drawings in the bid package for STATE ROUTE SR 2006 SECTION 01B in NORTHAMPTON COUNTY WILLIAMS TOWNSHIP from approximately the Raubsville Road intersection with Buttermilk Road at Segment 0150 Offset 201 to approximately 570 feet northeast of the Raubsville/Buttermilk intersection at Segment 0150 Offset 871.
