The Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Waste Management (STATE) is soliciting proposals for the completion of remediation actions. Remediation actions will consist of 1) excavation and disposal of impacted soils; 2) sampling of excavated areas to document site conditions following excavation; 3) backfilling and grading excavated area with clean fill, and 4) seeding with appropriate cool-season grass of the excavated area to prepare as a green space. These actions will be completed at the former M & H Gas Station located at 701 Dakota Avenue in Wahpeton, ND (the site). The goal of the project is to reduce contamination levels for the purposes of future land development to levels specified in this proposal. The project will convert this contaminated site into productive real estate.
