Install a Limited Lifetime CertainTeed fiberglass shingle roofing system on approx. 4,300 Sq. Ft. on the Newell Shelter and Ray Conniff Bandstand only, according to the following specifications: 1. Set up proper storage, safety and roof access. 2. Remove existing 1-2 layer(s) of roof to wood substrate and remove from site either by container or dump truck. 3. Inspect wood sheathing and replace any rotted or unsuitable substrate. Install 6ft of ice and water barrier shield at all eaves. 18 inches at all rakes, valleys, transitions and penetrations. 4. Install new F8 flanged aluminum drip edge metal at all eaves and new rake edge flashings at all rakes. Color selection to be white/ brown/ mill finish. 5. Install new step and ell flashings as job conditions require. 6. Install CertainTeed LandMark AR fiberglass shingles using six nails per shingle. Manufacturer’s warranty to be included. Color to be determined by Park Superintendent. 7. Clean up and haul away all resulting debris. Run magnet over lawn, driveway, and under all work areas. To be done daily as well as upon completion of this project. 8. Any /all necessary roofing permits required by the City of Attleboro, MA will be secured by the contractor 9. All roofing work performed by contractor will be left in a watertight condition at the end of each workday. 10. Workers Compensation, General Liability, Builder’s Risk, and other such insurances as required by law will be carried from the beginning to the completion of above roofing work...
