2.2.1. Inspection and Diagnostics 2.2.1.1. Conduct monthly district-wide inspections of all irrigation systems, including all zones, pumps, and sprinkler heads. 2.2.1.2. Test the complete irrigation system, from pumps to sprinkler heads, identifying any issues and reporting them to the M&O Department for approval. 2.2.1.3. Refer to the point of connection at each site. 2.2.1.4. Locate utilities before starting work at each site. 2.2.1.5. Notify the District representative prior to a shutdown. 2.2.2. Repairs and Replacements 2.2.2.1. Repair irrigation main (main and lateral lines), valves, sprinkler heads, controllers, and components as needed. 2.2.2.2. Replace broken rotor heads, sprinklers, valves, and other components. 2.2.2.3. Repair broken lateral lines, main lines, and leaks across the system. 2.2.2.4. Piping installation and repair of piping systems, including HDPE, PVC, Polyethylene, Polybutylene, copper, and galvanized pipe. 2.2.2.5. Sleeving for connection. 2.2.2.6. All repairs are to be completed following District-specified requirements. 2.2.2.7. Protect repair area from site personnel and students. 2.2.2.8. Open areas and trenches left open overnight must be covered and fenced in. 2.2.2.9. All repairs must be inspected prior to backfill. 2.2.2.10. Any changes or deviations from the scope require Management approval in writing. 2.2.3. Maintenance Services 2.2.3.1. Reset irrigation station timers for Daylight Savings Time and adjust runtimes to match seasonal needs. 2.2.3.2. Inspect and adjust sprinklers to optimize water distribution and prevent overwatering. 2.2.3.3. Perform deep root feeding and implement soil enrichment techniques to promote landscape health. 2.2.4. Technical and Specialized Services 2.2.4.1. Provide irrigation technical services, including hydraulic adjustments and troubleshooting. 2.2.4.2. Cancel or merge irrigation zones as required to optimize performance. 2.2.5. Site Cleanup and Debris Removal 2.2.5.1. Remove all debris from the site throughout the services and upon completion. 2.2.5.2. Clean the job site upon completion.
