This bid consists of the purchase, fitting, and delivery of up to 30 sets of structural turnout gear including coats, pants, suspenders, reinforced toe boots and black helmets with eye protection Equipment shall be new, not used and of the current year model and must be NFPA compliant. 2. Turnout gear: Prefer a minimum of mid-grade and higher options with department patch on shoulder opposite the American Flag, department name on back, and Firefighter’s last name at base of the coat. Will entertain options. 3. Helmets: Prefer matte finish black, lightweight, brass eagle with front leather shield displaying department initials and firefighter’s “Red Number”. Will entertain options. 4. Boots: Must be rated for structural firefighting with reinforced toe. Prefer lightweight, mid-calf height fit. Will entertain options.
