The existing gendered restrooms measure approximately 150 sqft each. There is not an accessible route to/from the restroom entrances, although BPRW is in the process of procuring a contractor to make improvements to the accessible route from the designated ADA parking spaces to the restrooms. This work will not make improvements to the building and the concrete apron around the building will need to be included in the redesign. The restroom redesigns should include, at a minimum, the following elements: • Full Universal Accessibility • One Adult-size/Adjustable changing table • Gender-neutral • Follow established BPRW restroom design standards • Energy efficiency (water/electrical, etc.) • Vandal proofing • Ease of maintenance • Durable, long-lasting components
