University of Montana Western, (hereinafter referred to as the “University”) is seeking proposals from beverage service purveyors to provide the exclusive sale, distribution and merchandising of all carbonated and non-carbonated nonalcoholic beverages, including flavored and unflavored packaged waters, canned or bottled fruit juices, fruit juice-containing drinks and fruit-flavored drinks, hypertonic, hypotonic and energy and fluid replacement drinks or sports drinks ("Sports Drinks"). This program will include exclusive fountain beverage pouring rights and exclusive provision of all bottled, canned, and vended beverage products in a relationship that will be referred to as the Beverage Partnership, for all locations on the Dillon campuses of University of Montana Western; with the exception of: beverage vending equipment owned and operated by individual University departments; construction site vending; private party leased sites, including, but not limited to, events where beverages are not vended; plus events taking place anywhere on campus having third party beverage vending or provision contractual rights. All existing contracts for like services and products will remain in effect for the base period of the existing contract and then transfer to coverage by the contract resulting from this RFP. The successful winner will also distribute appropriate rebates, checks, incentives to the department earning said item quarterly.
