The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to: • Perform API 510 field examinations on ten (10) above-ground pressure vessels located at the ONWASA Dixon Water Treatment Plant. Carbon media has been removed under a separate contract. • Provide API 510 certified inspectors and technicians, testing equipment, and personnel access and safety equipment; as required, to certify the results of the inspections. • Perform external Inspections of the shell, heads, & nozzles, along with any associated equipment and attachments utilizing the guidelines of API 510. Inspections shall include: o Ultrasonic Thickness examination of tank shells, heads, and nozzles that are safely accessible. o The shells shall be examined at equidistant locations around the vessel circumference and thickness measurements shall be taken horizontally per API guidelines. o The heads shall be examined with the corresponding shell locations per the API guideline across the external diameter. o Additional thickness readings shall be taken on the adjacent shell to the nozzle neck at each accessible nozzle. o Additional testing of any suspect areas found visually during the initial inspection shall be used to determine the relevancy of the suspect area. o A limited visual internal inspection from the upper manways utilizing an extension boom camera for the internal weld evaluation and photographs.
