This project includes all materials and labor associated with removing the existing blue final stair case covering and replacing it with a Silikal R-61 CQ floor system or approved equal. The work is to take place for both stair cases (one in the northwest corner on the alley side, and one in the southeast corner on the street side) and all areas containing existing blue floor coating at Parking Structure 5 at 1440 4th Street. Work includes the following: • Pressure wash existing stairwells • Demolish and dispose of all existing vinyl stair coating • Repair concrete stairs and landings as needed • Mechanically prepare concrete stairs and landings for coating • Repair cracks and joints as needed • Apply Silikal R-61 CQ Floor System or approved equal per manufacturer recommendations • Install yellow striping (Contrasting Stripe) at top and bottom of each stair run, per California Building Code section 11B-504.4.1.
