Durham County Government (County) is seeking a qualified and experienced Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to oversee and manage the renovation of office space within the Shoppes of Hope Valley Shopping Center, located at 3825 S. Roxboro St. Durham NC 27713, as well as future, undefined work that may be needed to support additional County projects at the site. The CMAR will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing the renovation of the existing space, for the County’s Project Build Program, and projects at the site as they are defined. The work may involve both interior and exterior components and will require close collaboration with the County, shopping center tenants, the County’s contracted architects, and other stakeholders. This agreement will be structured as a combination of the defined office renovation work and undefined scope elements that will be developed as needs arise. The Project Build renovation is approximately 5000 sq. ft. space and was a former shoe store. The new configuration will include private office space, cubicles, a meeting room, break area and other supporting features.
