Utilities: Contractor(s) will be responsible to bring water, sewer and power into the point of connection Christy box (provided by RFL), within six feet of the building line at the location shown on the plan. ➢ Water: RFL will furnish a water point of connection (isolation valve), from mechanical chase to a Christy box 6 feet from the restroom line. The County Contractor will connect stubup of water line to internal water line, then install and connect service to valve. The County Contractor will to install a 1 1/2" line with 50 gpm at 60 psi to operate the water closet. ➢ Sewer: RFL will furnish a water point of connection (isolation valve), from mechanical chase to a Christy box 6 feet from the restroom line. The County Contractor will install and connect service. Depth of the sewer line (below finished floor elevation) will be approximately 30” at bottom of sewer line at a distance of six feet from the restroom. The County Contractor will connect to RFL’s supplied sewer line at this depth. The County Contractor will install the prefabricated underground plumbing kit provided by RFL into a pre dug trench (completed by the County Contractor) to make connections between underground stubups and internal building plumbing located in the plumbing chase within the restroom. ➢ Electrical: RFL will furnish and install a PVC conduit and a Christy box to the point of connection six feet from the restroom. The County Contractor will pull the electrical service line through the conduit and connect to the main panel lugs inside the building. All electrical inside the building will be furnished and installed by RFL. The Contractor(s) must either own or have immediate access to equipment necessary to do all work specified within this IFB. If the Contractor must rent any (or all) equipment necessary to do any part of the required services, there shall be no additional cost to the County not listed on the Price Proposal Form. The Septic System Permit can be found on Page 70. The Land Survey, Overall Site Plan, Site Plan – Septic System and Well and the Grading & Drainage Plan is immediately following the Septic System Permit. Septic Tank/Drain Field Specifications: ➢ Tanks shall be 1,000 gallons and constructed of concrete or plastic material. ➢ Tank and drain field shall meet all requirements and standards set forth by the Georgia Department of Public Health – Environmental Health Division. ➢ Tank and drain field shall be located in area as shown on site plans. ➢ There shall be a clean-out on the sewer lateral near the bathroom and shall meet all requirements and standards set forth by the Georgia Department of Public Health – Environmental Health Division. ➢ Run conduit to the central meter which will be installed by Amicalola EMC. Water Well Specifications: ➢ Well must be installed by a licensed water well contractor. ➢ Well shall be a drilled well, and shall meet all requirement and standards set forth by the Georgia Department of Public Health – Environmental Health Division for non-potable well water. All piping, valves, gauges, and fitting to be provided by well contractor. ➢ The non-potable well shall be located in practical location in close proximity of the Styles Park bathroom; however, the following horizontal distances are required: o Not less than ten (10) feet from a sewer line o Not less than 50 feet from a septic tank o Not less than 100 feet from a septic tank absorption field ➢ Properly sized plastic, decorative rock coving to be placed/installed over well casing. ➢ 5’x 5’ gravel pad at least 4” in thickness to be placed around well casing. ➢ Well contractor shall provide all necessary electric wiring and components in order to provide electrical service to the well. ➢ Desired the well provide a minimum of 3-5 gallons per minute. ➢ Well pump shall be a submersible pump and a minimum of ½ HP ➢ Minium 20 gallon pressurized well tank to be provided and installed by well contractor. ➢ Run conduit to the central meter which will be installed by Amicalola EMC.
