IRRIGATION EQUIPMENT A. New irrigation equipment such as; irrigation controller, spray heads, drip line, valves, etc. is to match existing irrigation equipment currently being used on site. In the event that equipment cannot be matched submit proposed product sample(s) to the Landscape Architect for approval before purchasing or installing equipment. 2.2 PIPE AND FITTINGS A. All pipe, main and laterals 3" and smaller, shall be schedule 40 PVC with ratings printed on pipe. B. All 2-inch fittings and smaller shall be schedule 40 pressure rated PVC. Fittings larger than 2 inch on the main pressure in line shall be schedule 80 pressure rated PVC. Pipe fittings 4" and larger on the main pressure line shall be cast iron by Harco. C. All lawn spray heads shall be installed on swing pipe with two ½" spiral barbed ells and one street ell. All impact heads shall be installed on swing joint assemblies with three schedule 40- 1" Street Ells and one 1 x 8 schedule 80 nipple or pre-assembled swing joint by Spears or Lasco. D. Minimum pipe size for lateral lines shall be 3/4" and maximum size be 3".
