1. The Vendor shall provide Maintenance, Fiber Optic Cable Repair & Restoration and Relocation Service as defined in and in accordance with this Exhibit throughout the duration of the Service Term. Vendor shall ensure that the Service is maintained according to the specifications and procedures specified herein, through application of commercially reasonable and accepted industry standards and in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications. The purpose and result of monitoring and maintenance shall be to maintain (in the case of routine maintenance) or restore (in the case of non‐routine maintenance) the functionality of the Service. 2. The Vendor shall provide a Network Operations Center (NOC) available on a twenty‐four (24) hour per day, seven (7) days per week basis (24x7) for the purpose of submitting a Trouble Case. Vendor shall utilize only qualified personnel, office services, vehicles, and all tools and materials required for the safe and proper performance of maintenance procedures and emergency restoration. 3. Routine Maintenance is maintenance and repairs to ensure proper functioning of the District Owned Fiber Optic Outside Cable Plant. The Vendor shall perform routine and preventative maintenance, including route patrol but excluding locate/811 services. Planned network maintenance that does or does not potentially involve the disruption of functionality of the Service is also considered Routine Maintenance. The nature of such a planned Routine Maintenance activity is such that it can be pre‐scheduled so as to allow notification to Customer as appropriate. The Vendor NOC shall generally conduct such planned Routine Maintenance outside normal working hours anytime between 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM (local time) seven (7) days a week. The Vendor shall provide Customer with ten (10) business days prior notice of Routine Maintenance that is service affecting and five (5) business days prior notice of Routine Maintenance that is not service affecting.
