The County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide software for project portfolio management and reporting. The core capabilities of the proposed product should include the following capabilities: ● Track and report on all organizational and departmental priority projects at a high level; ● Track and report on key milestones for all active projects, including status (on-track vs notstarted vs late) and how that impacts overall project status; ● Associate individual projects with the County services and programs they impact; ● Associate individual projects with annual and long-term strategic priorities; ● Show how projects align with management and Board priorities, including strategic vision and plans; ● Allow project leads to update project and milestone status, ideally with automated reminders for standard update cycles and/or specific project milestones; ● Allow project leads to notify project stakeholders and followers of project changes and updates; ● Ability to manage capacity or resources assigned to individual projects; ● Ability to add dependencies, i.e., other work required, before the project can start or end. ● Standard, custom, and ad hoc dashboard and reporting capabilities for all data in the system, including project portfolio progress and status organized or filtered by department, service, or priority; and ● Ability to share read-only reports and dashboards to all users within the organization.
