The Municipality of Anchorage (MOA) is soliciting proposals from qualified Vendors to provide design and construction services for the Port of Alaska Modernization Program (PAMP) Electrical Substation project at the Don Young Port of Alaska (POA). This Design/Build (D/B) delivery method will require full design and construction of an electrical substation as required to provide power to three new ship-to-shore container cranes. The cranes are schedule to be delivered to the site in summer of 2028. Design and ordering of the long lead time times are expected to be completed in 2025. The project shall be substantially completed by July 1, 2028. The project includes electrical, civil, and structural design, ordering of long lead time items such as transformers and switch gear, site work, including a gravel site pad, environmental permitting and compliance system commissioning and other items as outlined in this RFP and the associated contract documents
